Labyrinth

What are we running for? Why are we running? Where are we running? Are we running away from something? Are we running because we are frightened? Are we running in the right direction? What if we are running backwards? What if we are just thinking that we are running? What if we are stable and the world is actually running? What if we are just standing still at a place? …..

Little did I know about the race. It’s a marathon, what I was convinced for. A simple race where you just walk or run to complete it. Little did I know, every step taken predicted the future. Sometimes, it was a known path but, most of the time it’s all about what we wanted. Sometimes, the decision to be taken was easy but, most of the time it did confuse me. Sometimes, taking a break was more important but, most of the time , “what if” was the most important. Little did I know, life, path and decisions were mine yet it wasn’t mine.

It wasn’t a marathon anymore. It’s wasn’t the decision made by oneself anymore. It wasn’t the path chosen. It was completely different from what it looked like. It wasn’t just about walking or running. It was planned, manipulated and executed according to ones’ step. So skeptical right? Every decision was taken by oneself, yet it was manipulated. Every path was choosen even before one could. Every single thing was predicted even before we could make a choice. It is a Labyrinth. Once in, you have to make your way out. It is life. Once you take a decision, you have to experience it’s consequences. It is a mere influence. Once you get to know, never follow the same without being concious.
