Dilemma

Dreams are good but breaking them isn’t. Changes are good but surrendering, isn’t. Being an idealistic person is good but not being a skeptical one, isn’t. Hope is good but expectation, isn’t. Sacrificing is good but being selfless, isn’t. Comfort zones are good but being a coward, isn’t. Making decisions are good but being in dilemma, isn’t.

A map has eight directions, but a human life has only three. You need to make decisions depending on one direction particularly, keeping the other two in mind. If you follow south all the way, you might land up in no man’s land. It’s all blue. In order to take a U-turn, you need a plan. You must know when and where to change direction. It’s okay to be in a dilemma for few nights, for few days, but not the whole journey. Once you are at the right point, you take a turn. A few seconds of thought might matter here. Wrong or right matters only about 1% of the time, but 99% of the time it’s all about what we get over there. Reaching true north is possible only if we have both wrong and right down the south.

Being right all the time isn’t right. One cannot be wrong all the time as well. A single right with thousands of wrong makes a lot of difference. Just like how a single ray of light makes the whole diamond glow. One’s right has value only when there are wrongs. Every life is a puzzle. Every life is a dilemma. Every decision is a piece of a card that completes the puzzle. The only way to solve it, is to live it to the fullest. Living our life according to oneself, makes it a better way. One can choose a better life when he/she chooses to be in a dilemma rather than finalizing on uncertain decisions. Being in a dilemma is good but following someone else’s directions isn’t.
